She has over 20 years experience working across the public sector and Health sector.
He has particular expertise within the health, education and charitable sectors. He advises on large scale reorganisations, redundancies and change management programmes, as well as conducting complex workplace investigations involving fraud, discrimination and whistleblowing.
Simon sits as a Legally Qualified Chair at the Medical Practitioner’s Tribunal Service which makes independent decisions about whether doctors are fit to practise medicine.
She is a senior HR professional who has delivered solutions for global brands across a broad range of industries including luxury retail, hospitality, legal services and banking. In the public sector she has worked with NHS Trusts and local government.
Saskia previously worked in marketing, first as a PR Manager for a small graphic design firm, and then as an Account Manager at a digital agency.
She developed her project and account management skills in this industry, but wanted a role with a more human focus, which is what brought her to ibex gale.
She has both a BA and MA in English and literature is her first love, so outside work she can be found perusing the aisles of her local bookshop.
Ruth is responsible for ensuring ibex gale clients experience the highest standards of service by focusing on quality assurance across all areas of the business.
As a former employment lawyer, Ruth also spends time on case work. Her speciality is sensitive and complex workplace investigations, including bullying and harassment grievances, whistle-blowing complaints and high-level disciplinary cases.
She has strong experience in public sector including NHS and Higher Education, and also in the retail sector.
Caroline is highly skilled in providing guidance and support on all aspects of employee relations issues and workforce related projects, with experience in complex ER case management, workplace investigations, policy development, coaching, conflict resolution, and culture & organisational change.
Fiona is CIPD qualified as well as Level A & B British Psychological Society trained. She is trained to deliver behavioural profiling in OPQ, Hays Leaderships Styles, Predictive Index and DISC.
Fiona spent over 10 years working in-house, predominately in Financial Services and Insurance.
She covered all aspects of HR including, TUPE, large scale redundancies and acquisitions, employee relations matters and training and development.
Liz spent twenty years as a barrister, becoming head of the Employment Law team at Albion Chambers until 2015, when she took a senior lecturer role at the University of the West of England. As a lawyer she was counsel instructed to represent claimants and respondents in the Employment Tribunal, the Appeal Tribunal, the Court of Appeal and the High Court.
Over many years she has been instructed in complex cases ranging from the most serious allegations of discrimination, constructive unfair dismissal, whistleblowing and equal pay claims through to technically demanding cases covering TUPE and large-scale redundancy.
In her time as a barrister Liz was instructed by County, City and Borough Councils, to represent them across the full range of employment law matters. Similarly in the Secondary, FE and Higher Education sector Liz has appeared for Claimants and Respondents in sensitive, high value and complex cases.
Throughout her time in practice Liz was preferred counsel for numerous small, medium and large private companies. Specifically she was retained by one of the UK’s largest services and facilities firms for all of their complex matters.
She has worked regularly and directly with board level personnel as well as marshalling and managing evidence from operational level employees. Liz’s ability to work with real attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture reflect her years of experience preparing for forensic cross examination of witnesses during trial.
She is also an accredited mediator and her abilities in that regard are reflected in her careful and successful pre-trial negotiations, securing lasting settlements and repeated instructions from solicitors and commercial clients.
She leads our governance and assurance division, supporting health and social care organisations with high profile, complex, investigations and independent reviews.
Before joining ibex gale, Sarah qualified as a regulatory lawyer at Bevan Brittan, and then spent 12 years at DAC Beachcroft supporting health and social care organisations with inquests, serious patient safety incident investigations, complex complaints and information governance.
Fiona has a background in the public sector and is highly experienced in group facilitation and team dynamics.
She is a qualified workplace mediator and an accredited practitioner with a team dynamics tool.
She has recently worked with clients across public and private sector, including NHS Trusts, Multi Academy Trusts, and organisations ranging from tech to retail.
Suzanne leads the Organisational Culture and Conflict Resolution & Mediation divisions at ibex gale, while also serving as the company’s Head of People. She is widely recognised for her deep expertise in workplace culture and her ability to guide teams through diagnosing complex issues and implementing transformative solutions.
With a strong foundation in employee engagement, talent management, leadership, and change management, Suzanne adeptly navigates organisations through challenging transitions. Her approach blends commercial acumen with empathy, ensuring that change is both impactful and minimally disruptive.
Suzanne is driven by the courage and openness of the organisations she partners with, and she finds immense fulfilment in seeing how cultural improvements benefit both the company and its employees. She holds an MSc in Strategy, Change, and Leadership from the University of Bristol.
She has a master’s in management with HR and is CIPD qualified.
Lucy is experienced in people matters, workplace mediation, investigations, facilitation and is working towards her Diploma in Transformational Coaching.
Her most recent role in the NHS was as a HR Business Partner leading on a project to introduce a Just and Learning Culture approach.
Emily is an experienced senior HR professional with a wealth of knowledge and experience managing and advising on complex employee relations matters spanning a broad range of sectors. Starting her career in the private sector, she has worked with local authorities, the civil service and most recently in a consultancy environment where she has partnered with businesses in insurance, property, renewable energy, TV production, retail, wholesale and distribution, utilities, technology and many more.
Prior to joining ibex gale, Emily was accountable for the delivery of specialist HR services in a consultancy environment, providing commercial, practical and strategic advice to a range of clients. Her passion and expertise are in managing complex investigations and restructures, and with her strong generalist HR knowledge, she has worked on various large and complex, people-related projects.
Rebecca oversees the marketing and business development functions at ibex gale.
She started her career in brand management for CIC Video (Universal & Paramount Home Entertainment).
Then followed years at other companies including Disney where she was Marketing Director in the TV division, before moving to the Cotswolds and running her own business.
She has a degree in Zoology from Nottingham University and CIM qualification.
Before joining ibex gale, Kimberley spent over 10 years as a regulatory solicitor specialising in supporting health and social care organisations in both the public and private sectors with: CQC compliance and regulatory action, incident/complaint management and due diligence for M&A transactions.
Kimberley also represented regulated clinicians in fitness-to-practise investigations, from the initial complaint and any interim order proceedings through to final hearing.
She has worked with clients from SMEs to global companies and on employment-related challenges in broader corporate transactions.
Her experience includes advising clients on employment law, contract issues, business re-organisation and restructures, advising on exit strategies, redundancies, TUPE, dismissals, appointing and exiting senior executives, drafting and advising on settlement agreements, outsourcing support, discrimination issues, disciplinary and grievance matters, and complex investigations.
Suki has the additional skills of being MCIPD qualified and has worked in-house for 12 months undertaking a secondment with a global technology leader as Senior Legal Counsel.
Matt has over 20 years’ experience in legal practice advising and representing medium to large UK and international employers. In 2001 Matt qualified with an international commercial law firm. He went on to be an employment lawyer and partner in a number of firms including a large regional commercial law firm, a niche commercial practice, and a national plc law firm. His experience is predominantly in the commercial world, working with both privately-owned commercial enterprises and publicly-listed corporate entities.
Matt has 15 years management experience and many years of wider business experience. He has been part of an executive team where he held management and budget responsibility for a team of 20 lawyers and strategic responsibility for a graduate recruitment programme. He has held multiple company directorships and governance roles.
Matt set up his own management consultancy business in 2021, providing businesses with legal and management consultancy services.
Prior to joining ibex gale Barbara worked in the legal industry as a paralegal for nearly 10 years.
Barbara assisted attorneys in multiple practise areas including corporate, insurance and labour law.
Poppy co-founded ibex gale with David Major in 2013.
As an employment litigator, she saw first-hand the need for a service that combined the expertise of lawyers and top-level people management professionals to help with complex challenges in the workplace.
After establishing a reputation for handling sensitive and high-profile workplace investigations, and successfully managing large scale organisational change programmes, her focus now is on building a flourishing team and ensuring that every project is delivered with compassion, empathy and excellence.
Laura works as the Operations Assistant at ibex gale.
She has provided advice in the education sector in relation to complex discrimination and sexual harassment claims. She is known for her ability to deliver effective solutions within tight deadlines while upholding high standards of work.
Since joining ibex gale, Mandy has conducted both investigations and culture reviews. She has experience in leading complex investigations including into issues like bullying and harassment in the context of race and sex discrimination.
Mandy has extensive experience in handling complex Tribunal claims, particularly those involving high-profile cases of whistleblowing, discrimination, and unfair dismissal.
She qualified as an employment lawyer and spent 2 years at a trade union firm before working at DAC Beachcroft for 19 years.
Currently studying towards achieving a Level 2 Certificate in Accounting with the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT).
Hayley loves spending time with her family, drinking coffee and trying lots of different cuisines!
She has a special connection with Malta and visits there frequently as she has Maltese heritage.
Her experience covers organisational culture, leadership, well-being, HR, coaching and mediation. Anne is a Master NLP practitioner and MBTI certified.
Anne loves empowering people to bring their whole selves to their roles, achieve their goals and make a difference. Prior to joining the NHS Anne worked in the private sector and is a proud Royal Navy veteran.
Outside of work, Anne enjoys running, particularly Parkrun tourism, walking in beautiful places in the British Isles, open water swimming and challenging herself to step out of her comfort zone.
Alongside a proven track record of achievement across the full spectrum of People/OD activity, Nick has delivered a wide range of project related activity and conducted an extensive number of often complex and sensitive disciplinary, grievance and complaint investigations.

As former employment lawyer, accredited mediator and member of the Association of British Investigators with over 20 years’ experience in employment law and employee relations, he is a recognised specialist in complex workplace investigations and conflict resolution.
David established the strategic purpose of ibex gale as a company that enhances people’s lives through the creation of exceptional workplaces and his focus now is on guiding ibex gale to live up to its brand promises by combining professional rigour with compassion, being fully invested in our clients and enabling positive change and progress.
Having held senior positions with a number of organisations in both public and private sectors, including Liverpool Victoria. TechData and the Mid Hampshire Primary Care Trust (PCT).
Sarah takes board level briefs on strategic and operational transformation to successful conclusions, working collaboratively across a wide range of businesses, both in the UK and globally.
She is FCIPD, holds ILM Coaching Accreditation Level 5, Myers Briggs Levels 1 and 2, and a first-class degree in Social Sciences.
She holds a Diploma in Business & Administration and a Level 3 Diploma in Accounting with AAT.
Brogan loves spending time with her family, and friends and walking her dog – Herby.
Prior to joining ibex gale, Shelley was a senior employment lawyer at a top 100 law firm providing commercial, practical and strategic advice.
She regularly advised on business re-organisations, changes to terms and conditions, and other large-scale projects.
She also managed complex employment tribunal litigation, where she successfully resolved multiple discrimination and equal pay claims.
She started her career in retail management before qualifying as an employment lawyer and has supported private and public sector organisations with complex, sensitive employment tribunal litigation, where she had a particular focus on equal pay and discrimination matters.
Leonora also has experience advising on TUPE matters, supporting organisations conducting grievance investigations, and advising on complex employee relations issues.
Specialising in navigating intricate employment tribunal litigation and addressing complex employee relations matters, Tim stands as a seasoned professional dedicated to assisting employers
Throughout his career, Tim has made significant contributions, particularly in collaboration with NHS Trusts and various commercial organisations. His role involved providing strategic guidance and support across an array of internal processes, including disciplinary and grievance investigations, matters related to workplace dignity, and the intricacies of handling sickness absence and redundancy procedures.
Tim’s profound understanding and adept handling of multifaceted legal challenges make him a trusted and invaluable resource in the realm of employment law.
In recent years he has also acted as a consultant for the Government of Jersey helping them to develop their framework of employment law and introducing new laws on discrimination and family-related leave.
Darren writes extensively on employment law issues and has previously worked for IDS and LexisNexis. He is also a consultant editor for XpertHR, the leading online platform providing employment law information to the HR profession.
He was a Partner at DAC Beachcroft for many years, covering all aspects of employment work from discrimination and unfair dismissal claims through to large scale redundancy programmes, outsourcing, TUPE and client training. Since leaving private practice.
Charles has undertaken a number of sensitive and complex workplace investigations – covering discrimination, bullying and harassment, fraud, breach of director duties and workplace relationships – for a wide range of employers including multinational businesses.
She has extensive experience of advising health and social care providers on the full range of employment law issues with a particular focus on advising NHS Trusts on dealing with concerns about doctors and dentists under Maintaining High Professional Standards in the Modern NHS (MHPS), including conduct, capability and ill health matters and providing support and advice to case managers.
Prior to joining ibex gale Lynda qualified as an employment lawyer and spent 5 years at trade union firms before working at DAC Beachcroft for 13 years.
She brings a natural ability to analyse, investigate and produce results to her role as an Associate at ibex gale.
Kimberley has the ability to distil complex matters for her clients, accurately recording, carefully planning and thoroughly managing each case from start to finish.
Previously specialising in sexual offences and child exploitation, Kimberley has a significant understanding of the sensitivities required in working with people who have experienced trauma.
Personable and professional, Kimberley has a proven track record of producing positive outcomes.
In this role, she supports the strategic and operational goals of ibex gale by acting as an extension to the Directors, whilst having responsibility for internal communications and identifying risks and opportunities.
Before joining ibex gale, Maddy spent 3 happy years at Seasalt as Executive Support.
She has experience working for other high-profile brands including Stella McCartney, where she was EA to the Creative Director.
Maddy lives in Cornwall where she can indulge her passion for surfing and the sea.
He is an experienced solicitor specialising primarily in dispute resolution including employment, contract disputes and medical negligence.
Jason has considerable experience in investigating and resolving the most complex and emotive issues and complaints, involving the analysis of source documents, identifying key issues, interviewing witnesses and establishing facts.
She has applied her mediation skills at a youth homelessness charity where she established a consultancy based service for organisations across the UK offering advice, training and networking.
Danielle has worked with individuals and organisations to establish best practice in mediation and has worked across commercial, public and charity sectors.
As a qualified Systemic Team Coach, she brings a Transformative Mediative Team Coaching based approach to support teams in bringing about relationship and collaborative change that delivers deeper levels of psychological safety and team effectiveness.
Pippa has a Masters in Personnel Management, a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and over 20 years’ experience in large corporates and FTSE organisations in senior HRD positions.
Many of her roles involved supporting large and complex transformational change programmes necessitating organisational and cultural change.
She brings a wealth of commercial experience to support clients trying to navigate complex human challenges
Prior to joining ibex gale, Victoria worked as a project administrator supporting facilities management projects for companies including Royal Mail and the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.
She previously worked in the transport and construction industry in project and administrative roles.
Prior to joining ibex gale, Rana practised as an employment lawyer for 15 years.
Rana has advised individuals through whistleblowing claims, disability and race discrimination issues, redundancies, contract negotiations, grievances and disciplinaries. She has supported many women through a variety of sensitive and complex sex-based discrimination claims, and has comprehensive experience of employment tribunal litigation.
He has a Degree in Psychology, a Diploma in Acting from The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and an ILM Level 7 in Executive Coaching and Leadership Mentoring.
He is an ongoing speaker on the High-Performance Leadership course for the IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland, and is also the Communication Trainer and Coach on the Advanced High Performance Leadership course for the IMD, in association with Professor George Kohlrieser.
Marina has over 30 years’ experience in the psychology of human behaviour and has worked in organisational development as a facilitator, mediator, and leadership coach.
She has collaborated with top FTSE 250 companies, the armed forces, and the NHS. Her approach fosters collaboration, creativity, and meaningful conversations, leading to performance shifts and successful outcomes.

She has extensive employee relations and employment law experience gained through her HR roles in the financial sector while working for American Express, and in the technology and electronic sector whilst working for the National Air Traffic Services.
Prior to joining ibex gale Melanie worked as a senior consultant in a boutique employment law and employee relations firm providing support to a wide range of clients from small, local firms to multinational blue chips.
Melanie has a BA (Hons) in Business Studies, a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management and is a Chartered Member of the CIPD.
When she’s not at work Melanie is a keen cyclist and enjoys walking her whippet with her family.
Prior to joining ibex gale, Sian spent 2 years as an administrator for an independent financial advisor dealing with a range of administrative and client enquiries.
She previously worked in banking and hospitality, including 7 years within Pensions and Investments for Lloyd’s banking group.
Zoe is an experienced employee relations professional and joint Head of our Investigation Service. She has a wealth of experience in complex case management and investigations, including MHPS, grievances, bullying & harassment and whistleblowing. She works with clients across the private and public sector, including NHS Trusts, Councils, Multi-Academy Trusts, Further Education and Higher Education.
Zoe has over 20 years’ experience as an HR Professional with 10 of those working at a senior level within the NHS. Her last role was Head of Employee Relations for a large NHS Foundation Trust where she was responsible for leading a large service providing employee relations investigations, Medical HR services and HR policy development for the Trust. Prior to this she worked within local education authorities providing employee relations advice to schools.
Chartered FCIPD, Coaching to Lead (NHS England), MHPS Trained Investigator (NHS Resolution).
Nick is an effective, compassionate investigator now specialising in Employee Relations and Freedom to Speak up cases within the Public sector.
With a proven track record of producing positive outcomes, Nick is experienced in investigating Dignity at work, Grievance and Disciplinary cases alongside cultural reviews.
Nick has an impartial and independent approach to the management of sensitive cases, considering Just Learning Culture principles, employment law and HR policy with the added expertise of offering advice when a case may meet the threshold of criminal law.
Prior to joining ibex gale, Kate spent over 5 years working as an HR Employee Relations Advisor at UBS in London.
She regularly conducted investigations, grievance and disciplinary processes as well as advising on restructures, employee representation consultations projects and all people related matters.
Kate also provided advice on policy best practice including aspects of diversity, equality and inclusion.
