She is a senior HR professional who has delivered solutions for global brands across a broad range of industries including luxury retail, hospitality, legal services and banking. In the public sector she has worked with NHS Trusts and local government.
Saskia previously worked in marketing, first as a PR Manager for a small graphic design firm, and then as an Account Manager at a digital agency.
She developed her project and account management skills in this industry, but wanted a role with a more human focus, which is what brought her to ibex gale.
She has both a BA and MA in English and literature is her first love, so outside work she can be found perusing the aisles of her local bookshop.
Ruth is responsible for ensuring ibex gale clients experience the highest standards of service by focusing on quality assurance across all areas of the business.
As a former employment lawyer, Ruth also spends time on case work. Her speciality is sensitive and complex workplace investigations, including bullying and harassment grievances, whistle-blowing complaints and high-level disciplinary cases.
She has strong experience in public sector including NHS and Higher Education, and also in the retail sector.
Caroline is highly skilled in providing guidance and support on all aspects of employee relations issues and workforce related projects, with experience in complex ER case management, workplace investigations, policy development, coaching, conflict resolution, and culture & organisational change.
Fiona is CIPD qualified as well as Level A & B British Psychological Society trained. She is trained to deliver behavioural profiling in OPQ, Hays Leaderships Styles, Predictive Index and DISC.
Fiona spent over 10 years working in-house, predominately in Financial Services and Insurance.
She covered all aspects of HR including, TUPE, large scale redundancies and acquisitions, employee relations matters and training and development.
Liz spent twenty years as a barrister, becoming head of the Employment Law team at Albion Chambers until 2015, when she took a senior lecturer role at the University of the West of England. As a lawyer she was counsel instructed to represent claimants and respondents in the Employment Tribunal, the Appeal Tribunal, the Court of Appeal and the High Court.
Over many years she has been instructed in complex cases ranging from the most serious allegations of discrimination, constructive unfair dismissal, whistleblowing and equal pay claims through to technically demanding cases covering TUPE and large-scale redundancy.
In her time as a barrister Liz was instructed by County, City and Borough Councils, to represent them across the full range of employment law matters. Similarly in the Secondary, FE and Higher Education sector Liz has appeared for Claimants and Respondents in sensitive, high value and complex cases.
Throughout her time in practice Liz was preferred counsel for numerous small, medium and large private companies. Specifically she was retained by one of the UK’s largest services and facilities firms for all of their complex matters.
She has worked regularly and directly with board level personnel as well as marshalling and managing evidence from operational level employees. Liz’s ability to work with real attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture reflect her years of experience preparing for forensic cross examination of witnesses during trial.
She is also an accredited mediator and her abilities in that regard are reflected in her careful and successful pre-trial negotiations, securing lasting settlements and repeated instructions from solicitors and commercial clients.
She leads our governance and assurance division, supporting health and social care organisations with high profile, complex, investigations and independent reviews.
Before joining ibex gale, Sarah qualified as a regulatory lawyer at Bevan Brittan, and then spent 12 years at DAC Beachcroft supporting health and social care organisations with inquests, serious patient safety incident investigations, complex complaints and information governance.
Fiona has a background in the public sector and is highly experienced in group facilitation and team dynamics.
She is a qualified workplace mediator and an accredited practitioner with a team dynamics tool.
She has recently worked with clients across public and private sector, including NHS Trusts, Multi Academy Trusts, and organisations ranging from tech to retail.

Lucy is experienced in people matters, workplace mediation, investigations, facilitation and is working towards her Diploma in Transformational Coaching.
Her most recent role in the NHS was as a HR Business Partner leading on a project to introduce a Just and Learning Culture approach.
Emily is an experienced senior HR professional with a wealth of knowledge and experience managing and advising on complex employee relations matters spanning a broad range of sectors. Starting her career in the private sector, she has worked with local authorities, the civil service and most recently in a consultancy environment where she has partnered with businesses in insurance, property, renewable energy, TV production, retail, wholesale and distribution, utilities, technology and many more.
Prior to joining ibex gale, Emily was accountable for the delivery of specialist HR services in a consultancy environment, providing commercial, practical and strategic advice to a range of clients. Her passion and expertise are in managing complex investigations and restructures, and with her strong generalist HR knowledge, she has worked on various large and complex, people-related projects.
Rebecca oversees the marketing and business development functions at ibex gale.
She started her career in brand management for CIC Video (Universal & Paramount Home Entertainment).
Then followed years at other companies including Disney where she was Marketing Director in the TV division, before moving to the Cotswolds and running her own business.
She has a degree in Zoology from Nottingham University and CIM qualification.
Before joining ibex gale, Kimberley spent over 10 years as a regulatory solicitor specialising in supporting health and social care organisations in both the public and private sectors with: CQC compliance and regulatory action, incident/complaint management and due diligence for M&A transactions.
Kimberley also represented regulated clinicians in fitness-to-practise investigations, from the initial complaint and any interim order proceedings through to final hearing.
She has worked with clients from SMEs to global companies and on employment-related challenges in broader corporate transactions.
Her experience includes advising clients on employment law, contract issues, business re-organisation and restructures, advising on exit strategies, redundancies, TUPE, dismissals, appointing and exiting senior executives, drafting and advising on settlement agreements, outsourcing support, discrimination issues, disciplinary and grievance matters, and complex investigations.
Suki has the additional skills of being MCIPD qualified and has worked in-house for 12 months undertaking a secondment with a global technology leader as Senior Legal Counsel.
Matt has over 20 years’ experience in legal practice advising and representing medium to large UK and international employers. In 2001 Matt qualified with an international commercial law firm. He went on to be an employment lawyer and partner in a number of firms including a large regional commercial law firm, a niche commercial practice, and a national plc law firm. His experience is predominantly in the commercial world, working with both privately-owned commercial enterprises and publicly-listed corporate entities.
Matt has 15 years management experience and many years of wider business experience. He has been part of an executive team where he held management and budget responsibility for a team of 20 lawyers and strategic responsibility for a graduate recruitment programme. He has held multiple company directorships and governance roles.
Matt set up his own management consultancy business in 2021, providing businesses with legal and management consultancy services.
Prior to joining ibex gale Barbara worked in the legal industry as a paralegal for nearly 10 years.
Barbara assisted attorneys in multiple practise areas including corporate, insurance and labour law.
Poppy co-founded ibex gale with David Major in 2013.
As an employment litigator, she saw first-hand the need for a service that combined the expertise of lawyers and top-level people management professionals to help with complex challenges in the workplace.

When she’s not at work Melanie is a keen cyclist and enjoys walking her whippet with her family.
After graduating in Chemistry and a brief stint in the industrial chemicals sector, Mark changed track and retrained into HR. His early HR career provided a solid grounding in the unionised public sector, and his last two in-house HR roles have been senior leadership positions in global blue chip manufacturing companies through periods of intense change.
In previous job positions Mark has been responsible for reward, engagement, recruitment, talent, L&D, comms, diversity, legal compliance, HR systems, management development, organisational design, wellbeing and CSR.
Mark set up his own HR practice in 2017 and has since been engaged in various interim and project roles around business transformation which have been very hands on.
He says people would describe him as international, numerate, ethical, pragmatic and commercial.
What drives and intrigues him is creating work teams that do brilliant work, have fun, volunteer for responsibility and take care of one and other. Outside of work Mark loves to be outdoors cycling or hiking, and serves on the board of trustees for Caring in Bristol.
Prior to joining ibex gale, Sian spent 2 years as an administrator for an independent financial advisor dealing with a range of administrative and client enquiries.
She previously worked in banking and hospitality, including 7 years within Pensions and Investments for Lloyd’s banking group.
Zoe is an experienced employee relations professional and joint Head of our Investigation Service. She has a wealth of experience in complex case management and investigations, including MHPS, grievances, bullying & harassment and whistleblowing. She works with clients across the private and public sector, including NHS Trusts, Councils, Multi-Academy Trusts, Further Education and Higher Education.
Zoe has over 20 years’ experience as an HR Professional with 10 of those working at a senior level within the NHS. Her last role was Head of Employee Relations for a large NHS Foundation Trust where she was responsible for leading a large service providing employee relations investigations, Medical HR services and HR policy development for the Trust. Prior to this she worked within local education authorities providing employee relations advice to schools.
